Complex Magazine – February 2010

The Complex logo was converted to a 3d CGI model and then various shades of color and luminosity were projected on it. It was then animated digitally, with motion blur and a matched shutter, to recreate the same in lens effect the cars were generating as the zoomed by. Flares and highlights were retouched in and it was integrated into the final photo.

brief : The theme of the cover was blurred head and taillights moving past Drake as he stood in a median. The logo for the magazine needed to match and blend into that look.
