The March 2011 issue of O, The Oprah Magazine is an excellent example of creating a motion cover that that supports and enhances editorial content. Opting to go with a still photo for the moving cover, The O creative team challenged us to bring life to the coverlines in a fun a clever way. The result is a word jumble that “de-clutters” itself into the final cover. We also had the opportunity to contribute to two feature article pieces for this issue; one combines traditional stop motion photography as a reveal and the other CGI to enhance video and animated text.
